Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team to bring a designed concept into full scale production. Process flow diagrams are produced from concept designs. Control plans and FMEA's are produced identifying the need for controls/tooling throughout the process. Tools, jigs & fixtures are designed and assessed using 3D modeling. Process documentation written and operators trained. Statistical methods used to validate process steps.

Working within the Machine Tool Division alongside the product design and development Engineers. In this position I worked on two large projects with involvement from concept phase to full scale production. Part of the role was to interface between the design team and the production operators who would ultimately have to assemble the product, this involved negotiating design changes to help over come assembly issues, identifying the need for tooling to control aspects of the build and validation/commissioning. I was also responsible for training the production operators so that a consistent process was followed
