From the beginning of my employment in this startup, I have been trained and working with the Guidewire Software Insurance platform to implement and provide consultation services to European clients in cities like Hannover, Milan and Dublin. During my tenure, I have been mainly involved with implementing and integrating Policy based services in both the auto-motive and London Market insurance markets.DUTIES● Provided implementation and consultation services to insurance companies across Europe, usingJava and Gosu with cloud and third-party data integrations on the Guidewire Insurance Platform● Participated in the software development lifecycle as a developer using the agile methodology buthelped out on the business analysis and quality assurance side when needed● Acted as a senior reviewer on pull requests, ensuring best practices were upheld and providingalternative solutions if something could reduce the project cost● Trained and mentored new employees to integrate them into active and future projects as quickly aspossible through the academy processACHIEVEMENTS● Designed and developed a training programme that will be used as a testing ground for prospectiveemployees in the future as part of the academies● Helped release and maintain 2 major Guidewire solutions across the German Automotive andLondon Market insurance areas as a lead contributor on both projects● Configured a solution that brought testing environment deployment times down from 2 hours toaround 30 minutes for both major projects I was involved with, allowing for faster regression cyclesand quicker turn around on releases
