• Coordinate and assist with the transformation of schematic design model into final working construction documents.• Participate in cross-discipline coordination meetings in order to evaluate project progress and guide workflow.• Develop CAD/BIM standards and templates to be used on all projects and oversee the implementation.• Create and manage data/project libraries for AutoCAD and Revit related projects.• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project managers to promote integration, facilitate communications and resolve critical issues.• Review shop drawings produced by fabricator and coordinate with project design documents.• Ensure AutoCAD and Revit system software is up to date and assist with software deployment. • Evaluate technology needs and make recommendations for future software and/or hardware needs.• Develop construction document packages and meet project goals.• Manipulate/translate various digital file formats in order to create useable CAD/Revit drawings.• Work closely with engineers and architects with design review and query potential design discrepancies.• Document existing field conditions and coordinate with proposed design.• Interpret and coordinate drawings from various disciplines on project team including architectural, mechanical, electrical and fire protection.• Involvement in all phases of the project from schematic design through construction administration.• Provide help and technical support to other employees using AutoCAD and Revit design software.
