Performed analysis of aircraft systems for Environmental Hazards and requirement compliance utilizing detail, assembly, and installation drawings, parts lists and datasets. Analysis included Boeing commercial, 737 next generation and defense system supplier datasets. Developed aircraft hazardous materials tracking methodology currently implemented by P-8A Poseidon Environmental Safety & Occupational Health (ESOH) program. Applied my understanding of aerospace standards and process techniques on a day-to-day basis utilizing tools; such as REDARS, PSDS and Boeing Material Specifications to create, layout, revise and present compilations of system material design associated with the U.S. Navy P-8A program. Coordinated that information with Boeing team and U.S. Navy customer in preparation of formal contract deliveries. Performed analysis for the P-8A Poseidon System Safety Organization based on 7 years of military hazardous materials expertise. Presented with a situation that included a dissatisfied customer and lack of progress visibility. Negotiated a plan with the customer and implemented that plan with a small team. Tracked work and reported progress weekly. After 6 months the program was on schedule with clearly stated goals, progress visibility and had a satisfied customer. Performed logistic management duties using the U.S. Army TAMIS-R integrated management system. Conducted training and qualification of company-level hazmat handlers. Ensured safe handling practices and compliance with regulations. Successfully worked multiple positions while in a forward deployed combat environment: Ammunition Officer, Chemical Officer, and Hazardous Material Safety Officer. Planned, coordinated, and executed all Safety and Hazardous Material requirements in support of a high profile Weapons of Mass Destruction Exercise.
