Implements department goals and objectives, establishes work priorities, schedules and coordinates work to be accomplished per shift. Responsible for daily log, emergency calls and reports, overtime and injury reports. Responds to alarms as an officer of a firefighting company; performs variety of firefighting functions, including Incident Command Officer. Responds as the officer of a medical team to bring basis medical care to citizens of the community and maintains quality control of EMS program, when assigned. Participates in daily training exercises and classroom lectures and prepares and conducts training for department, when assigned. Responds to general public complaints, requests for information and guidance, cooperates with surrounding communities in firefighting and rescue efforts. Maintain discipline and insures that personnel follow department rules and regulations. Responsible for cleanliness of station and maintenance of apparatus, tools, equipment and all other Fire Department property. Responsible for SCBA's as designated as SCBA officer. Accomplish such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Preventing fires by providing regular inspections, responding to emergency cases (mainly fires, but also can be medical problems, etc.) and providing assistance. Reducing fire damage with the help of own equipment and by making sure it’s in the right working order. Keeping station and equipment in great condition and providing regular maintenance, inspection, and repair. participating in public educational activities within local community on preventing fires. Acquiring more professional knowledge and skills by taking part in trainings, workshops, self-education updating records for incoming service calls, equipment inspection or repair and other accountable aspects of fire department’s day-to-day job. Following safety working policies and reporting needed changes or unsafe activities and conditions.

provide technical rescue standby for customer projects including confined space rescue, technical rope rescue, as well as first aid and CPR.

Responsible for handling guest complaints and compliments, returning merchandise to shelves, accepting returns and exchanges, refunding money and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. They may also activate gift cards, phone cards and handle requests for money orders.
