Frequent face-to-face delivery of NTS training to Flight Crew and Cabin Crew across the Virgin Australia Group (Virgin & Tiger)

The Flight Safety Specialist (FSS) is principally responsible for the management of Tigerair’s Flight Data Analysis Program (FDAP). The FDAP program is primarily a Safety Assurance tool, the output of which is also utilised throughout several areas of the business to drive safer, more efficient outcomes. The FSS analyses and models data; to demonstrate compliance with SOPs, for Evidence-Based Training, Engineering purposes etc., while ensuring that data is valid and used appropriately.

Reporting to CASA, responsible for the management of Flight Data Systems’ commercial UAV operations and training, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Management of a team of specialist flight data analysts, tasked with analysing, validating, interpreting and reporting on flight data recordings, removed from DFDR (black box)/CVR/QAR.Provision of Flight Data Monitoring and flight data management services, for local and global airlines.Practical Management of Enterprise-Level server equipment.

• Preparation and submission of flight plans, fuel plans and trim sheets to comply with regulatory and company requirements.• In flight piloting duties in compliance with Civil Aviation Regulations and company procedures and policies. • Charter Pilot• Additional duties as volunteered or requested.

• Provide flight instruction in compliance with current regulations and legislation.• Conduct theory courses, in house exams and invigilate web-based CASA examinations.• Supervision of junior flight instructors and staff.

Flight Instructor, Grade 2 • Provide practical and flight theory training.• Create and deliver theory courses for all facets of flight training.• Aerial photography operations. • Manage fleet maintenance schedule and fuel bowser quality and supply.

Safeguard Security Group is a Melbourne-based company that provides security guards, patrols and alarm monitoring.• Install cabling as directed by project manager, manage staff, and ensure quality of workmanship, all within agreed time constraints.• Install security cameras, access control modules, and alarm systems, as directed by the project manager, or as required by the client.• Terminate, program and test all installed equipment.• Liaise with builder/ other contractor services to ensure correct completion of project.• Respond to service calls, test and repair/replace equipment as necessary.
