I worked for a licensed Electrical contractor for over 15 years; beginning, in summer break in high school. Being in bands ,and playing live music ,from a young age,I was eventually seduced by the prospect of doing live sound for bands.I started mixing bands in small clubs, and later was hired as a Sound Engineer for the Chicago based Blue Audio.It was during my tenor with Blue Audio ,that I became involved with JT Audio; their specialty being installs of audio and video for clubs and restaurants, and I worked with both company's simultaneously. It was some time around 1998 that I began to take more of an interest in the electronic side, of musical instruments . I began studying up on basic electronics ,and building many devices that , I would later sell under the brand name "RetroSonik" . I put together a website for the brand ,& kept it up and running for about ten years.I no longer maintain that site ,but parts of it can be still be viewed by searching for RetroSonik.com via a site called "The Way Back Machine" It was also around this time (1998) that I became Head Sound Engineer for Chicago club Joe"s .There, I would install and maintain the sound system, hire second engineers, advance upcoming shows,and set up and mix local and national acts. During my 17 year tenor there Joe's was voted #1 country club ,every other year for seven straight years.I have also built my own home recording studio,that I call LimeStoneLabs. Facebook.com/LSlabs. I write the sound track and music for the web series ; CafeGangster (.com)In 2014 ,I gave them my 3 month notice ,and accepted a job offer from Sencon, a manufacture and developer of sensors and systems for the canning industry. I have been employed there since January 6 ,2015 , running two Juki SMT pick and place machines , an automated GKG screen printer, and a seven zone Heller oven. I have some experience programming all these machines , and doing fine repairs of SMT boards.I left Sencon in August of 2016 .
