Senior System Administrator • Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning along with implementing operating systems enhancements• Interface with end users to resolve complex problems concerning system functions • Provide system administration and maintaining operations of HBSS servers.• Implement HBSS migration/compliance strategy.• Troubleshoot HBSS product issues and outages.• Administer ePO tree structure management• Administer policy catalog management• Coordinate and planning ASI details, as needed.• Maintain system patches, as well as operating system, Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, and HBSS Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.• Resolve ePO server issues (e.g., operating system, ePO, or Microsoft SQL Server).• Maintain the ePO server (e.g., automated tasks, task scheduler, database maintenance tasks).reported through a problem ticket. Assess diagnostic information and determines alternatives.• Highly skilled in desktop systems as well as numerous software applications. Skilled in IT hardware and network services such as Active Directory.• Knowledgeable of IT operations, platforms, and functions. Assist in maintaining knowledge base of technical issues resolved in steps performed to resolve issues.• Performs vulnerability scans using vendor utility tools. Monitor security audit and intrusion detection system logs for system and network anomalies. • Investigates and/or escalate security violations, attempts to gain unauthorized access, virus infections that may affect the network or other event affecting security.
