I have had the privilege of being on the front line of the revolution in cycling in this country. I have spent nearly two decades in the sport, working closely with every major protagonist of the transformative success cycling has seen over four Olympic cycles from Athens to Rio. The company I founded with Fran Millar was the first to really capture the zeitgeist of the sport, supported from its outset by Sir Dave Brailsford, and responsible for transforming domestic track cycling, hand in hand with the phenomenal success of the Great Britain Cycling Team. Our event, the Revolution Series, not only hosted Olympic homecomings from Athens onwards, but worked directly with the coaching and management of the GB team to nurture future Olympic Champions via our youth development programmes including the DHL Sprint School and Revolution Future Stars which saw the first competitive success of athletes such as Jason Kenny and Geraint Thomas.Our mission at FACE was to create fans of cycling through our innovative and proprietary event concepts, which in addition to Revolution included the award-winning Nocturne and Parkour Ride. FACE delivered over 100 events internationally and succeeded in creating a passionate fanbase that has left a tangible legacy on the sport.Building and running FACE and working with partners from Sky to DHL, Rapha to Mr Porter has enabled me to develop a unique skill set and gain experience across all areas of business operations to a CEO level. I am able to combine a creative approach with meticulous planning and management to execute projects ranging from major televised events to client engagement programmes - and everything in between.
