I am a project architect with over 8 years’ practical experience of working in architecture in London, Oxford and the Cotswolds, I have forged a proven track record of successfully delivering design driven projects insensitive, conservation & heritage contexts. I have worked predominantly in the educational, commercial, and residential sectors on behalf of my employers and with a varied roster of clients that have included Oxford University colleges, internationally renowned public schools, housing associations and private individuals. I currently work as an architect with Tyack Architects in the Cotswolds. As a graduate of the Manchester School of Architecture (Bachelor’s), the Oxford School of Architecture (Master’s) & the University of Bath (Professional Certificate), I have enjoyed a varied and rigorous academic entry into architecture. My academic interests have emphasised the social, sustainable and collaborative aspects of architecture; interests I have kept sharp through my liaisons with the Centre of Alternative Technology and my volunteer work with sustainable building projects inFrance. My prize-winning master’s thesis advocated qualitative research as the principle driving factor in design via a multidisciplinary research methodology that combined story-telling, poetry, film and model-making into a critical spatial practice. I have continued to share his interests in these area through teaching opportunities with the Oxford School of Architecture & Central St. Martin’s.
