This role combined a lot of what I was doing in my previous role but with day to day running and support of the on-premises, and Exchange online platforms. I was involved with the migration from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 from both the exchange side and the mobile side. I developed my PowerShell skills in this role, creating custom scripts to help automate tasks and create monitoring tools for the support team.

This was my first role in BT where I was first introduced to windows server whilst working on mobile management solutions; BlackBerry Enterprise Server and Good for Enterprise. I was tasked with the day to day monitoring of support mailboxes, dealing with end user faults, upgrading and implementing new servers. I found my love for scripting and automation working with TSQL, PowerShell and C# to automate various tasks and create automated solutions for the products.
