During my time at Maplin Electronics I held a variety of roles at several stores, and was considered a key member of staff at the stores I worked at. Primary responsibilities in my later years at Maplin including the day to day managing of the shop floor, ensuring high levels of customer services where maintained and driving the performance of the shop floor staff. I have also been involved with in-store merchandising and assisted with the merchandising and opening of several new stores, I have acted as an SME for the training of new employee's and continuous development of existing junior members of staff. Further to these roles I also conducted a variety of back-house tasks weekly including the zero-stock and gap-checks ensuring the accuracy of stock profile within the store, booking out stock returning to Head Office.
