James is the manager of Delta’s Cargo Control Center, responsible for monitoring shipments and supporting the Cargo operational and commercial teams in Irregular Operation scenarios (IROPs), customer escalations, and product management.James joined Delta Air Lines in 2014 and has experience working in various commercial and operational roles. In his current role, he works with stakeholders across the entire Delta enterprise to ensure Cargo customers receive exceptional, safe service. During the onset of the recent COVID-19 crisis, his team led business continuity planning and coordinated Cargo’s tactical response with operations teams and customers. He was responsible for creating Delta Cargo’s Vaccine Watchtower, an industry leading innovation which has been featured in internal and external publications that supports the crucial COVID-19 vaccine distribution worldwide. Before joining Delta, he worked in the web conferencing industry as a financial planning and analysis manager where he had extensive experience in revenue forecasting and model development. James was featured in Air Cargo Weekly in an Rising Employee Spotlight segment. His leadership of the charters carrying the late Rep. John Lewis and George Floyd were recognized by senior DL executives, and he is honored to be selected to the 2021 CEW Leader Experience class.
