As the sole Health Plan Account Manager for Northern CA, Oregon and Washington, I’m responsible to retain and grow a book of health plan business totaling over $218,000,000. By providing day to day operational support, and expert consultation on all lab related inquiries, I develop and maintain strong, relationships with these key partners, ensuring that Quest is seen not merely as an ancillary services vendor, but as a trusted partner. I work closely with the region’s Account Executive on negotiation, maintenance and compliance of all Health Plan contracts, collaborate with our health plan partners to reduce out-of-network leakage and manage denial resolution, and collaborate with internal operational leaders to ensure consistently excellent service to all health plan members.

Northern California

I was responsible for negotiation, maintenance and ongoing compliance of all contracts in the Northern CA book of managed care business. Through day to day management of service requirements, I developed and expanded relationships with key contacts including C-suite level leadership. I prepared and presented quarterly business reviews to senior executive teams of key Managed Care partners, and drove revenue growth by presenting new product offerings and services.

Using expertise in laboratory operations, core systems, and various development environments, I independently managed the flow of critical quality and HEDIS related data feeds to key Northern CA Managed Care and Health Plan partners.

Responsible for interpretation, development, testing, validation and troubleshooting of laboratory system programming requests.Responsible for development and validation of CPU-CPU interfaces for the delivery of laboratory result to clients using electronic medical record systems.Responsible for annual validation of existing CPU-CPU interfaces to ensure that results are being delivered and displayed accurately.Responsible for daily monitoring of laboratory information system error logs, and resolution of any issues indicated therein.
