    As vicar, I lead the ministry and mission of this busy suburban church, ministering to all ages. I am also an honorary Canon of Ely Cathedral, Rural Dean of Cambridge South.We have a ministry team of ten people, are a training parish and have Cambridge ordinands on placement. We have links with Homerton College (where I am an Associate Fellow), eight local schools, Addenbrooke's Hospital and our local Queen Edith's Community Forum. Recently we opened our refurbished St John's Centre, and are developing a range of community initiatives. We are a partner in the Cambridge Churches Homelessness project, and a provider of parenting courses via the Cinnamon Network. Our core values are listening, learning and transforming, as we seek to serve the local community, grow in faith, and proclaim God's love. I also serve on the Spirituality Advisory Group of Ely Diocese, as the Bishop's Spirituality Adviser, and am a trained spiritual director.I am an Assistant Director of Ordinands, a member of the Third Order of the Society of St Francis, and a part-time member of the Chaplaincy team at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

    My last post was as Vicar of Great Bowden Parish, Foundation Governor at Great Bowden Academy, and Team Vicar in the wider Harborough Anglican Team. I am a member, previously Chairman, of the Peterborough & Leicester Dioceses' Spirituality Group (PALS), lead Quiet Days & Retreats at Launde Abbey, Retreat Centre of the Diocese, as well as being a Spiritual Director and on the Referral Team. I am on Diocesan Synod & served on the Crown Nominations Commission for the See of Leicester (2015). Since 2014 I have been Chairman of the Great Bowden Music Fest. In 2015 I was also appointed Co-convenor of the Welland Valley Partnership, comprising the Harborough Anglican Team and eight rural parishes. I am training incumbent to a Team Curate and line manager to a Children & Families Development worker.

I was also Co-ordinator of Market Harborough Street Pastors, a Chaplaincy volunteer at the Leicester Royal Infirmary and a post-graduate student at Sarum College, Salisbury, studying Christian spirituality. During this time, Market Harborough Street Pastors won two County awards. I also wrote poetry, taught and published several articles on prayer and spirituality. It was a time of significant spiritual transformation.
