As a senior at Cornell University, I am pursuing a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations, with minors in Fungal Biology, Law & Society, and Anthropology. I am passionate about applying my interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to solve real-world problems and create positive change.I have gained valuable experience as a business development intern at eggXYt, a biotech company that uses genetic editing to identify the sex of chicken embryos before they hatch, reducing animal suffering and increasing efficiency. I have supported the company's growth strategy, market research, and investor relations, as well as contributed to multiple projects involving data analysis, presentation, and communication. Additionally, I have been working as a scientific researcher at Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, studying microbial endosymbionts of early divergent fungi. I have conducted microscopy, spore extraction, decontamination, and PCR DNA analysis for a BSL2 lab funded by NIH research grants. Through these experiences, I have developed and demonstrated my competencies in artificial intelligence, business analysis, business strategy, and fungal biology, as well as my ability to work with diverse teams, stakeholders, and clients.
