Within this role I have the following responsibilities:• Delivery and maintenance of Asset Care Policy that supports safety, cost, and reliability targets.• Ownership and continuous development of Asset Life Plans to strategize investment over asset lifecycle and corresponding delivery of capital expenditure.• Development of cycle ending TAR (turnaround) scope and management of online asset inspection and maintenance activities to achieve required unit TAR dates.• Authorisation of repair programs resulting from inspection activities. Direct management of repair programs where non-standard repairs or plant modification is required.• Production of technical requisitions for new equipment, including technical and commercial analysis of competitive tender where equipment value exceeds £100k.• Provide discipline expertise and root cause analysis in troubleshooting asset vulnerabilities to minimise impact on both short-term and long-term operation.

Development of TAR project scope and management of scope execution from unit shutdown to commissioning. • Specified overhaul requirements for static equipment (columns, heat exchangers, vessels and pipework), planning resource, identifying project risks and developing mitigations. • Managed a “System” during execution phase, typically consisting of 30-50 individual equipment work scopes. This was done from a construction management/engineering quality assurance perspective and involved coordinating contractors (often ~5 supervisors and ~30 contractors) to meet TAR milestones and quality standards.• Created Job Method Statement tool using Excel and VBA for automated site norms calculation and output in format that allowed for easy integration to TAR planning system. • Witnessed “Critical Joints” during 2019 TAR to ensure bolted joints that are deemed to be of significant business/safety risk are installed and documentation recorded correctly.

Digital Leaders Study data collection stage. The study analysed the level of online and digital aptitude of B2B and B2C companies across a variety of industries within the UK. The role centred on the collection and manipulation of large amounts of data (using Excel) in a format that permitted analysis. It coordinated with simultaneous studies in other European countries in order to ensure inter country comparability.

Project management within public sector. I worked in a team to contribute towards the delivery of an £18M+ renovation project of the Department for Transport headquarters in Westminster. I managed tendering and analysis of bids for various sub-contractors. Included too was the production of logistical documents such as a first draft of the Decant Strategy Report (the programme for removal and re-organisation of personnel during the works).

Design of mechanical components and systems for use in testing and verification of company products e.g. test rigs for determining load capacities of downhole clamps. Strong use of Autodesk Inventor CAD software was essential throughout.

Created a study into the trajectories of Free Fall Lifeboats launching from a cylindrical FPSO in damage conditions. Data generated influenced topside layout in order to keep risk of lifeboat collision with vessel hull ALARP.
