In September 2021, after making my desire to transition into a more Administrative role, I was offered to fill an approaching vacancy. After 3 months of training, I officially stepped into my current role within the WA Container Deposit Scheme. Selected for my understanding of both the Scheme and Industry, as well as my Analytical and Detail Orientated mindset and skills with Microsoft Excel, my current responsibilities include Data Analysis, Invoicing, Credit Processing, KPI Reporting, Revenue Tracking, and Customer Liaison. In my short time in this role, I have participated in the implementation of API Programs and have personally overhauled multiple Data Entry Processes to increase Accuracy, Ease of Access, and Reportability. It is by far the most exciting and rewarding role of my career so far.

After requesting greater responsibilities, I was fortunate enough to have the company sponsor my HR License and Biosecurity Clearance. This allowed me to fill the roll of Relief Driver, gaining experience across multiple Vehicle Types, Plant Equipment, and Waste Products.In October 2021, at the commencement of the WA Container Deposit Scheme, I was one of the first Drivers selected due to my Consistency, Reliability, and Attention to Detail.

I was hired to clear and maintain one of the yards and, after asking for More Responsibilities at regular intervals, I quickly progressed to Preparing Deliveries and Maintaining Equipment on client sites.

Noticed for my Analytical and Detail Orientated Mindset and Problem-Solving Skills, I was selected to be a Subject Matter Expert for the newly created Inventory Team. This was my introduction to Storing and Packing. After a few months of training, I was responsible for Assigning Stock Locations, Generating Picking Runs, and Damage Control. Using my skills in Microsoft Excel, I created a “Calculator” to find the best location and configuration for stock, based on physical attributes, classifications, and demand, greatly increasing Productivity and Efficiency.

My first Full-Time role after leaving TAFE and my introduction to Processing and Distribution. I was responsible for manually tracking all inbound and outbound traffic, as well as the Scheduling and Confirming of Customer Bookings. In my first month, I used my skills in Microsoft Excel to convert the Vehicle Logbook from Physical to Digital, reducing waste and improving searchability. This allowed me to take on more responsibilities including becoming the Account Administrator for 2IC Pallet Control.
