As the market leader In office furniture manufacturing, I lead a highly skilled team who manage our U.K. distribution operations using our own fleet which is serviced by our own team of skilled fleet maintenance engineers from our state of the art workshop. We also run our global distribution operations from our main office again using a highly proficient team of import/export logistics specialists who manage the complex distribution of our goods door to door in all corners of the world including distribution to The Senator Group operations in the US, India and the Far East. The final part of the group logistics operations includes the management of our furniture installation operations and project management activities which take place both in the U.K. and around the world using a blend of our own teams of skilled installation technicians and approved partners around the globe. Prior to current employment I was appointed by Saica in 2010 to set-up and develop the UK Logistics Organisation for Saica Paper UK culminating in the start up of the new £300m Saica Paper Mill in Carrington, ManchesterThis followed 10 good years with ExxonMobil having Successfully managed their distribution operations within the UK & Ireland for 3 years, and acting as the prime interface with 3PL contractors on a daily basis, ensuring that contractual SLA's & KPI's were always met.
