I worked through customer demographics, the effectiveness of the company's social media campaigns, and the popularity of different product types.My recommendations influenced marketing and sales strategy.NHS Appointment Volume TrendsI uncovered trends in NHS appointment data and recommended seasonal and weekly staffing plans. 18 months of NHS appointments, totalling over 27 millions individual points of contact, were loaded into Python (Pandas library), analysed and plotted for clarity (Seaborn charts). I identified seasonal, monthly and weekly trends, and showed how staffing could be adjusted to account for fluctuations in demand. I also recommended options for social media strategy based on Twitter data.Sales Analysis for Global Games CompanyI categorised client groups for a games manufacturer, and showed the impact of each product on overall sales. I processed worldwide sales data using the R statistical programming language and plotted charts to bring clarity. I identified relationships between products type and sales across different regions. I also processed English-language text of online reviews for positive / negative sentiment analysis, giving confidence to the marketing executive on using ChatGPT for social media content.Employer Project - TBC.
