Worked very closely with C-level airline executives and provided guidance on program direction. Led culturally and geographically diverse teams, and won a team championship reward in 2017.

Delivered mission critical flight and operation solutions to major airlines like Unite Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Air China, and China Eastern. Oversaw a complete program life cycle from initiation to final cutover with solid on-time and under-budget performance. Successfully built Operations Control Center (OCC) for the three major airlines (CA/CZ/MU) in China. With a problem-solving mindset, led and motivated cross-functional teams in product design, development, and subject matter expert to overcome operational and technical challenges.

Directed new business development and delivery of airline business consulting in China. Secured the first multi-million dollar consulting engagement in China. Led business consulting in areas of IT strategy, network and fleet planning, revenue and pricing management, airport management, flight and operations control, M&E management, and crew management. Developed a winning consulting team and provided excellent measurable results for major airlines in China.

Led a consulting team to provide business transformation and change management to a variety of airlines like British Airways, Egypt Air, TAM, and Aero Mexico. By introducing industry best practices and advanced technology solutions, greatly increased airline profitability and improved operational cost and efficiency. Also developed IT strategy for Cathay Pacific and Air China.

Developed and delivered revenue management system and crew management system for Air New Zealand, Kuwait Airways, and China Southern. Worked very closely with developers and trainers in a cross functional team for development and delivery of customer specific functions. Worked with customer for solution adoption, support, and value measurement.

Improved a fleet optimization model by utilizing operations research and computational techniques. This work provided a better solution for American Airlines’ network planning division. Developed crew assignment model for the industry first UNIX based crew management system. Led a team of operations research analysts to improve forecasting accuracy in a revenue management system.
