IT Manager for the Better Futures Multi Academy Trust, overseeing and managing IT across 3 academic colleges

- Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support for service requests. - Line management for IT support technicians.- Manage and Maintain Backup solution for Windows and Mac OSx- Project management for development / upgrade of network infrustructure, server maintenance, Telephony systems and new technical platforms- Administrate and provide technical support for Office365 suite - Outlook, Onedrive, Teams, OneNote- Maintenance and analysis of the college virtual servers (vCenter), configuring server security, services, upgrades and monitoring performance and reliability.- Configure and maintain HP network switch configuration (VLAN Tagging, Trunking etc).- Network management including DHCP, VPN connection, internal and external DNS.- Configuration and management of the colleges wireless technology (WiFi), Current configuration is Ruckus- Continue to administrate application and OS image deployment alongside WSUS deployment for server and desktop securty updates- Manage and analyse the college Firewall systems (Sophos XG), manage internal/external traffic, application control, web proxy, bandwidth shaping, produce reports for management of web traffic. Security control of LAN/WAN networks.

- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for the following: - Interactive whiteboards & AV - Printing solution - IP telephony - Support for Microsoft Windows platforms - Apple Mac OSx - Manage user account and groups using Microsoft Active Directory Users & Computers and ADSIEdit- Maintain the colleges backup solution- Administrate and provide technical support for on premis Exchange (2003)- Provide support for the colleges wireless technology (WiFi), Ruckus and Meru systems- Configure and deploy software application packages and create Windows images (XP, Windows 7 and Windows10)for over 1,000 desktop PC’s, laptops, tablets.- Design and maintain the colleges SharePoint based intranet sites
