• Full registration with a licence to practise since 14/01/2014• Research physician on a number of multi-centre, international research projects including:• CRASH-3 (Effects of tranexamic acid on death, disability, vascular occlusive events and other morbidities in patients with acute traumatic brain injury)• HALT-IT (Effects of a high-dose 24-h infusion of tranexamic acid on death and thromboembolic events in patients with acute gastrointestinal bleeding)• RELAX-2 (A multi-centre, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase IIIb study to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of Serelaxin when added to standard therapy in acute heart failure patients)• EcLiPSE (Levetiracetam versus phenytoin for second-line treatment of paediatric convulsive status epilepticus)• Taught medical and nursing students/staff at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in both large and small group settings, seminars and simulations• Member of department’s Medical Governance Group and Research Ethics Group• Created a podcast series to supplement medical education (https://www.takeaurally.com/) with morethan 50,000 listeners in more than 50 countries worldwide.
