The Nightingale consort is a group of talented singers formed from students of King's College London. I am proud to have founded and directed this ensemble, gaining experience in choral leadership, programming, and consort singing. Whilst in this position I was responsible for leading rehearsals, choosing reportoire, and fulfilling administrative duties for the choir.

In this position I was responsible for overseeing the finances of King's College London Jazz Society. Previous to my time in this role, student players were not compensated for gigs the society was taking a fee for. Following analyses of society finances, a 50% fee to the performers was agreed to compensate the work done. St Cuthberts has maintained a high standard of professional music making since the beginning of the 20thCentury. The choir repertoire ranges from polyphony to contemporary music and members of the choir often perform solo works. My role as choral scholar was to contribute to the music of the church alongside a professional octet. This required good professionalism and preparation as well as excellent musical skill.

As vice president of Kings College London Symphony Orchestra I worked alongside a committee of talented musicians to run the orchestra. My primary roles were facilitating meetings, and aiding both the president and orchestral manager with logistical planning. During the orchestras tour to venice, I played a crucial role in coordinating the safe and efficient transport of percussion between venues.

St Mary the Virgin is a flourishing musical church in North London with a large congregation. It is the origin place of the English hymnal and has a proud musical tradition. My role as choral scholar was to support a larger group of amateur singers with the music sang at weekly services.
