• Assist in the evaluation of IT systems and equipment and make recommendations for improvements.• Coordinate plant production scheduling and liaison with customers.• Review production specifications and identify and report equipment and labor capacity constraints.• Resolve manpower and material shortage problems in a timely manner.• Monitor workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.• Coordinate supply-chain purchases of materials and equipment.• Study shipping and receiving processes for efficiency and effectiveness.• Suggest improvements to shipping and receiving procedures with respect to timeliness and cost.• Document shipping and receiving information; and• Complete reports for the General Manager and Plant Manager.• Work with General Manager to develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators for the business on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials, and testing (in conjunction with Quality Control Manager).• Supervise the activities of building-2 workers. Including overseeing the secondary operations of welding, deburring, parts washing, etc.• Interview, select and train building-2 personnel.• Oversee building-2 equipment maintenance activities are followed and documented.• Work with other departments as needed to ensure shipped parts meet all customer and internal requirements.• Plan, develop and implement warehouse safety and security procedures and activities.• Prepare correspondence, reports, and manuals with respect to safety.• Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated.• Review invoices, purchase orders, work orders, or demand forecast to estimate peak delivery periods.• Inspect physical conditions of warehouse, vehicles or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.• Schedule pick-ups or delivery of products or materials.• Work with purchasing department and customers to maintain an inventory of returnable and expendable packaging necessary to meet production and shipping schedules.• Attend and participate in meetings arranged by the General Manager.• Ensure that materials and equipment are prearranged for production.• Coordinate with General Manager to develop and execute production plan.• Work with Managers to develop potential solutions to improve production performance.• Develop effective scheduling process to achieve production objectives.• Analyze and address production issues in a timely fashion.
