Responsible for the setting and running of Doosan Puma 400 CNC lathes using a Fanuc operating system. Manufacturing parts for the Aerospace, Marine, Military and oil and gas industry working to tight tolerances and being able to interpret engineering drawings for the correct dimensions and tolerances.Responsible for looking after 2 machines at all times and balancing my time accordingly. Competent in the use of overhead gantry cranes with a certification from ETDL.Work a continental shift pattern off 4 on 4 off with 12-hour shifts.

Responsible for the loading of chassis on to CNC machines and then machining the chassis to the correct sizes and tolerances required by the engineering drawings. Competent in Heidenhain CNC controls. Competent in using overhead gantry cranes to set parts to within 1mm ready for machining.

Responsible for all types of fencing work. These included concrete posts and gravel board fencing, close board fencing and palisade fencing. I have a lot of on-site work experience working for new housing companies and working on new retail shopping centers.(CSCS Card holder)Welding shop experience

Responsible for the setting and operation of Haas system CNC milling machines. This included making some high precision parts for companies like Rolls Royce and Bombardier.

Responsible for the setting and operation of CNC milling machines producing component parts for high precision gear metering pumps. This involves the interpretation of engineering drawings.An understanding of CNC Programing is essential to enable minor program errors to be corrected.Work a two Shift Rota system, part of a small team; I’m always willing to assist other team members to achieve company targets and customer’s needs.
