Develop and maintain tactical relationships with relevant area industry, emergency service and Government Agencies to support ambulance operations. Coordinate the initial response to multiple casualty incidents and major incidents. Lead and deliver on-road operations supporting a collaborative culture and high performing team. Manage resources within set parameters and ensure resources are meeting service delivery needs.

Facilitation of both scheduled and reactive conference discussions with relevant stakeholders from both within and external to St John Ambulance. Providing intelligence to WA Country Health Service, RFDS and St John Ambulance and capturing impacts of patient transfers. Logistics and resource allocation, referral information and call prioritisation.

Assist in the delivery of a high-quality response to natural disasters, pandemic, and protracted incidents by providing emergency management leadership across deployments to metropolitan and regional areas of WA.

Respond to all onsite project specific medical emergencies and health presentations, both work related and non-work related, which may include trauma, cardiac, psychological disorders and provide high quality care and medical services on remote/offshore sites. Ensuring advanced life support, preventative care, infectious disease surveillance, OHS, and immunisation programs.

Providing effective implementation and maintenance of all administrative and support processes associated with the successful operation of the ambulance station and contribute to the delivery of a high quality ambulance service to the Western Australian community.

Providing specialised response and advice using specific skill sets to meet inter-agency, intra-agency and clinical requirements. Utilising specialised PPE for the treatment and transport of patients with suspected or confirmed infectious diseases.
