Operational responsibility for the teams carrying out substantiation & payment / receipt of costs and commissions across: BC&E (Exchange fees, Brokerage, Agent Bank, FMIs) Market data Structured licensingResearchThis spans all Lines of businesses and products. I was part of the Global Markets Trade Efficiency group and responsible for driving European projects to allow the calculation of daily Exchange, Clearing, Brokerage and Settlement costs for both FID and Equities over all markets and products. I provide Trading book level costs, Business Analytics & MI to the Trade NPE team for their month end Accounting and Allocation purposes and to the Front office Business managers and desk heads. The majority of my time at NYSE Euronext was spent working on the final stages of delivery of a new Pricing and Settlement system. This included testing and coordinating system releases, wrting and executing Test cases specifically around volatility and pricing of derivatives and working with Development on the fixing and delivery of software enhancements. This included testing and coordinating system releases, wrting and executing Test cases specifically around volatility and pricing of derivatives and working with Development on the fixing and delivery of software enhancements. I was also heavily involved in supporting the UAT cycle of the system with the Market observers at the Euronext Amsterdam Exchange.During my time in Amsterdam i was instructing the market observers on the use of the new system that would be calculating the prices for all their Futures and Options contracts, including Settlement prices, allowing them to control price limits and would be providing other funtionality critical to running the markets. I was leading the UAT in Amsterdam and was responsible for co ordinating the on site Techonology and Development experts to provide the level of support required by the Business users and tackle any questions and issues they faced.I was providing an interface between the Business and Techonology group, reporting issues and progress to senior stakeholders on a daily basis and ensuring the customer had the required support and understanding up to and including go live of the new systems, I was first line support for the go live for both the Amsterdam and London Exchanges. During this time i built strong relationships with the Business side customer which allowed the Techonolgy group to have the interface and communication with the Business users to assist with a sucessful UAT phase and go live.
