Whether you are looking to start a business, have a side hustle, or have been running a company for 30 years and are ready to retire, we can help connect you to market research tools, business planning/financial software, insurance agents, banks, experts, and a variety of programs to help your business grow.In this role, I have had to quickly adapt to a constantly growing environment while working with multiple small businesses that vary across industries from trucking to retail to agriculture, manufacturing, and many more. I work with a young team of four individuals including myself, who are responsible for managing the 11 counties in East Central Indiana. I manage scheduling meetings with over 150 active clients while making sure to continue to sharpen my business expertise, stay up to date on current events/opportunities in the small business environment, build relationships with stakeholders/other resource partners in multiple counties, and present a variety of training/workshops covering topics including business planning, marketing, financial bookkeeping, and our signature Launch Your Own Business. I help clients register their businesses, build business plans, develop marketing strategies, identify target markets, organize financial documents, and connect with individuals or resources they need to be successful. This position has required me to utilize strong time management and intentional organization, as well as, good written and oral communication skills.While at this position my team and I have been able to start multiple businesses, raise millions in capital infusion, increase multiple locations sales, and create/support hundreds of jobs. Our goal is to be a one-stop resource for entrepreneurs to come and get guidance or connections so they can start and grow.
