I'm a Toronto based Film Editor specializing in Documentary but with a wide range of interests and skills. I’m also looking to explore different genres of Television and Film. I’m very versatile, detailed and I’m really passionate about what I do. I've been told that I have a very good sense of story, structure and character. My work has played at festivals and on television internationally. My first feature as an Editor was "All Governments Lie: Truth Deception and the Spirit of I.F. Stone", which was executive produced by Oliver Stone and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. I then cut two documentaries which premiered at the HotDocs Film Festival in 2019: "The Corporate Coup d'État" (a follow-up to "All Governments Lie") and "Toxic Beauty", which examined the potentially harmful chemicals hiding in everyday personal care products. I also edited "Better Living Through Chemistry", a documentary love story about two psychedelic pioneers. My most recent projects as Editor are: "Last of the Right Whales" (2021), about the elusive and endangered North American Right Whales. Versions of this film also aired on CBC's The Nature of Things and PBS's Nova. "Malcom is Missing" (2022) a gripping documentary about a woman's search for her missing father. "The Movie Man" (2023), a quirky feature documentary about a very unusual small town cinema, is coming soon! The films I've worked on have won or been nominated for many awards. "All Governments Lie" won a DGC Award for Best Picture Editing for a Documentary, as well as being nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy. "Last of the Right Whales" was the Best Canadian Feature at the 2022 Planet in Focus Film Festival. My work has been shown at festivals internationally including TIFF and IDFA.
