I am a biomedical engineer and computational biologist with over a decade of experience applying technology, data analysis, and programming to challenges in biology and human health. I'm also a strong believer in reproducible, open source, open access science and software. At Sage Bionetworks, I work with other passionate, highly skilled scientists to promote and facilitate sharing and collaboration in biomedical research. In collaboration with colleagues at Sage and across genomics and health research networks, I'm focused on developing infrastructure, standards, and resources to support scientific communities.Many of our partners in academia and industry operate at the intersection of medically motivated questions, biologically grounded experimental design, and data-driven discovery. We aim to accelerate the pace of discovery in these fields by coordinating communities, providing platforms and training for sharing data and methods, and advocating broadly for open, collaborative science.
