This provided experience in mechanical design, systems architecture, undertaking armour and acoustic trials, system balancing activities, stakeholder management, and sub-system development.Installation Design and Certification in the United Arab Emirates (5 months)This placement involved a 5 month secondment to work in the UAE, supporting an installation design and certification programme. This provided experience in mechanical design, and design for manufacture, use of PDM Windchill to manage design configuration changes, creation and maintenance of BOM’s and preparation of technical material to support key programme deliverables.
