A team oriented safety professional, my goal is sending our workers home safe to their families each day. In the past year I have provided safety oversight for A.O. Reed workers on McCarthy’s 650 million dollar Scripps La Jolla Hospital Tower II build, DPR’s 3 billion dollar UCSD Hilcrest Campus Redevelopment, and Turner’s IQHQ Research and Development District, a project spanning several city blocks in downtown San Diego which will become the largest urban commercial waterfront site along the California coast. While I currently oversee A.O. Reed’s hard working fleet of plumbers, pipe fitters, and sheetmetal workers, I also have experience from M2 Safety where I conducted field safety inspections and trainings for subcontractor trades including waterproofing, electricians, iron workers, carpenters, painters, roofers, solar installers, structural steel, and drywall. As an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer or in my role as an American Red Cross CPR Instructor, I seek to give effective trainings that draw on real life examples that drive home the importance of safety. I approach every day with an open mind and no hesitation to ask questions if I don’t know the answer. Every shift is an opportunity for growth and learning as a safety professional, and I’m proud to be part of an organization like A.O. Reed that puts its workers first, always.
