Contract Manager for multiple DOD and non-DOD federal agency Indefinite Delivery Contracts. Provides expertise in federal Small Business Administration (SBA) programs.

Responsible for providing federal engineering, planning, construction, real estate, and environmental services. Responsibilities include maintenance of 95 navigation channels and harbors, 100 miles of navigation structures, 3,500 miles of Great lakes shoreline, operations and maintenance of the federal locks and hydro-power facilities at Sault Saint Marie, MI, and issuing regulatory wetlands and navigation permits. Support four states (WI, MI, MN, IN) during natural disaster response operations. Interface directly with 38 members of Congress, numerous federal and state agencies and the public. Serve as the US Regulation Representative on the Lake Superior Board for the US and Canadian International Joint Commission as implementing authority for the International Boundary Waters Treaty. Responsible for workforce of 420 engineers, scientist, attorneys, skilled tradesman, and other professionals and an annual operational budget in excess of $120 million.

Responsible for all aspects of operations, planning, and training of a 1,200-person engineer brigade consisting of combat, construction, bridging, and geospatial units. Directs and synchronizes 33 person multidisciplinary staff to accomplish all assigned missions.

Responsible for planning and coordinating department of the Army global re-basing decisions and Army modernization initiatives for forces stationed in Europe, special emphasis on developing engineer force structure capabilities and installation facilities master planning.

Responsibility: Coordinate and synchronize US, coalition, and contract construction throughout Afghanistan. Responsible for planning construction, upgrading Forward Operating Bases, roads, airfields, helicopter landing zones and supporting Provincial Reconstruction Teams. Responsible for providing technical engineering and construction management services for US and coalition forces (Korean, Polish, and Slovakian military engineers) in Afghanistan.

Responsibility: Engineer operations officer for military engineering support to operational and contingency missions for US Army Europe. Responsible for planning, construction management, cost control, and coordination of technical or contract support from external agencies or contractors as required. Responsible for defining infrastructure requirements and programming resources to support transformation of US Forces in Central and Eastern Europe. Supervised 31-person Construction Management Section consisting of design engineers, surveyors, construction inspectors, contract admin specialists and soils and materials testing lab technicians.

Executive Officer and Deputy Commander of a 750 person Engineer Construction Battalion executing projects in Europe, Africa, and South West Asia. Responsible for maintenance of over 500 pieces of engineer equipment and military vehicles, logistical and material support, managed operational budget over $3 million, oversaw property accountability of $39 million. Supervised battalion staff of 42 personnel.

Responsibility: Responsible for all aspects of operations, planning, and training of a 750-person construction battalion executing projects in Europe and Africa. Developed and executed battalion annual training program which included designing, planning, coordinating and managing quality military construction missions. Provided direct supervision and leadership of a staff of 43 people.

Responsibility: Environmental Engineer for Department of Defense Joint service agency performing precision weapons, high explosive, counter proliferation, and counter terrorism programs. Planning and engineering environmentally safe tests, ensure compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations. Wrote Environmental Assessments, obtain regulatory permits and develop mitigation requirements. Program Manager for Programmatic Environmental Assessment team comprised of 14 Army, Navy, Air Force and civilian personnel.
