James Breeden is a founding member and managing partner of UNO Trade’s Washington, DC office. James specializes in the economic analysis related to trade remedy matters. During his twenty plus years in private practice, James has assisted dozens of law firms and their client companies involved in trade remedy proceedings. He has participated extensively in trade remedy proceedings conducted by the U.S. Department of Commerce in addition to matters before the Department of Trade Remedies (Brazil), the Ministry of Commerce (People's Republic of China), the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (India) and the European Commission. He has experience working with companies in a range of industries including but not limited to steel, aluminum, chemical, agriculture, textile, automotive and consumer goods. James has also participated as an expert in trade remedy seminars conducted in Mexico, Vietnam and China and was named among the leading antidumping expert by Who's Who Legal (WWL, Economics and Antidumping Consultants, 2018 and 2019).Prior to entering the private sector, James served as an official in the U.S. Department of Commerce's Import Administration, where he enforced US antidumping and countervailing duty regulations.
