Hello! My name is James, and I am an undergraduate at The Ohio State University majoring in Biomedical Science with a minor in Religious Studies. As a graduate of Madeira High School, I am a Cincinnati native and have lived there for my entire life. Thus far I have been privileged to work in a variety of workplace environments--from food service to wet lab bench work, and I am so fortunate to have gained valuable life experiences from various disciplines. My professional goals and aspirations aren't static, and I find myself fascinated and drawn to a plethora of career paths. I am, however, currently focused on the medical field, specifically the disparities that are present in medical care available to lower socioeconomic levels, the human mortality and our contemporary view of the process of dying, and the massively undervalued field of developmental psychology. In whatever I do, I plan to dedicate myself to people--as I cannot imagine myself doing anything else.
