This role involved working with the Business Banking Teams, the Regional Management Teams, Marketing and BOI Senior Management team I managed, coached and developed a team of people who liaise with the 35 BOI Regional Business Banking teams who were responsible for new business from both existing and new customersMy team were responsible for all MIS, monitoring lead generation conversions and activity management. My team was key to providing accurate information to a number of divisions across the Senior Management teamI implemented a new information sharing process which resulted in a 25% increase in efficiency I implemented a new approach to BOI’s intermediary proposition which aimed to deliver significant business growth. Regular and insightful communication to these intermediaries was key to this plan I played an active role with Marketing to develop the communication strategy to the business community. I also had a proactive role in recruitment, training, procedures and systems

The Bank's strategy was to increase its market share of Business clients in the SME sector. My role in this team was to meet business customers to see if we could support their business. There were a range of Banking facilities that we provided for businesses to support them in terms of working capital, Trade Finance facilities for importing and exporting, management of Foreign Exchange risk and Term Loans to purchase both residential and commercial investment property.

I was managing a portfolio of c. 50 Business clients which involved meeting with them on a regular basis to ensure that the Bank was providing the required level of support necessary to allow their business to either grow or maintain its position within its marketplace

I managed a Business Unit in Naas which was responsible for the Kildare market in along with some parts of Dublin where required. During this period I also worked in the Credit Department at the Head Office in Dublin where I looked at various deals around the Country

I worked in a Business Banking team comprising of 8 people. My role was to manage a portfolio of business clients and to source new clients for the Bank

This was my first full time role in leaving college as I was based in this section for 3 years carrying out a variety of roles such as cost management, budgeting, leasing, internal audit.
