I am a very self-motivate person and enjoy working on my own initiative working to achieve performance targets and key deadlines through effective planning, flexible working, work plans and project/event action plans with key team members. It is vital the customers are receiving a high-quality service that meets the changing needs and requirements of the public and service users. It is important that customers are continually communicated with via formal and informal consultations. With my experience and skills, I have the ability to negotiate with them when their needs are not met. It's key to have good working relationships with internal & external groups who use the service as these are a major role in the facilities. Staff play the vital part in the customer experience, so it is essential that they have the skills to deal with customers through training and support. I have an excellent understanding of the importance of health and safety in facilities coupled with knowledge from IOSH Managing Safely and experience sitting in the strategic health & safety group which plans, develops, monitors and sets operational procedures that are then implemented across the region's sites. It ensure these procedures / policies are correctly managed and monitored to ensure a successful implementation and safe working equipment and facilities that meet the required regulations.I have had great success taking over services and making a major improvement on the budget by assessing the balance between expenditure (staffing) to income ensuring the services are not over or under staffed. If services are under staffed there is generally potential for extra income if staffed correctly. I have success in generating extra income as I grasp quickly what the service is providing and where there are opportunities to bring in additional income that would meet services user’s requirements and link this to new marketing activities.
