Leads a national voluntary program which encourages organizations to use green power to reduce the environmental impacts associated with conventional electricity use. Advises EPA leadership, the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and private-sector Partners on issues related to voluntary renewable energy markets, clean energy technology development, and greenhouse gas emissions accounting practices. Policy experience:• Advises internal Federal stakeholders on Inflation Reduction Act implementation, including the 45V Hydrogen Production Tax Credit. • Supports Federal Executive Order policy design and implementation (e.g., 14057, 13693). • Represents EPA's policy perspectives through the GHG Protocol’s Scope 2 and Market-based standards, guidance, and update processes. • Leads the development of practice guidance on Scope 3 value chain and Category 11 sold products. • Counsels standards bodies on EPA's renewable policy positions to support Federal procurement under subpart 23.7 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).• Informs EPA policies on Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) concerning heavy construction materials and embedded emissions using life-cycle assessments.• Aids EPA regulatory rulemaking staff on clean energy policy, including the proposed Greenhouse Gas Standards and Guidelines for Fossil Fuel-Fired Power Plants and the Clean Power Plan. • Supports EPA’s Office of Civil Enforcement in facilitating adoption of appropriate clean renewable energy opportunities through EPA enforcement settlements. • Assists the Energy Star Buildings Team on renewable energy policy and practices to inform the Portfolio Manager benchmarking tool.

RE100 is the global corporate renewable energy initiative bringing together hundreds of large and ambitious businesses committed to 100% renewable electricity. Members of the RE100 Technical Advisory Board help support the Climate Group and CDP in the technical aspects of the RE100 initiative.

Supported the development of a U.S. standard that specifies the general performance requirements and operational characteristics for heat meter equipment and instrumentation. The ASTM E3137 standard was completed in 2018.
