MEASURE Evaluation is a project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that improves decision-making in global public health. We do this by enabling 50+ low to middle income countries to collect and use data to monitor their epidemics and evaluate programs that aim to control them. The Project budget is $230 million over 5 years plus related awards in three countries for another $70 million, or a total of $300 million. The Project is led out of the Carolina Population Center at the University of North Carolina, and implemented with five partners: Futures Group, ICF; John Snow Incorporated, Management Sciences for Health, and Tulane University.

Oversaw about 75 activities related to the monitoring and evaluation of HIV, malaria, and tuberculosis; and the work of about the same number of people.

Researched the factors contributing to high rates of sexually transmitted infections in rural North Carolina.
