About James Curley

With over 40 years of experience in sales and business development of branded Natural CPG, I have a passion for building natural, organic, and specialty food brands that align with my personal values of sustainability, health, wellness and conscious living. I have held management positions in retail foodservice, retail grocery, natural food store management and ownership, specialty distributor sales, national sales and marketing management, and brand and channel development. I have been a valued member of multiple management teams, including Giorgio Foods, Spartan Foods, Nile Spice Foods, The Tofurky Company, Nancy's Yogurt, Powell & Mahoney, Enjoy Life Foods, Mamma Chia, and others and co-founded Spinning Wheel Brands LLC, which became The Planting Hope Company Inc. in 2021. For 30+ years I owned and operated JFC Market Management, Inc., a contract sales management and brand development agency. I also co-founded Upgrade Partners LLC, a contract sales management company for early stage natural and organic CPG products that was acquired by FDM Sales. I have been a featured speaker at the popular seminars hosted by the Natural Product Consulting Institute founded by Bob Burke. I bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and networking to the natural foods CPG space, and I am excited to continue growing and innovating Natural CPG businesses.
