UK MD with responsibility for strategy, profitability, driving growth and adding shareholder value as well as being a Board Director of the UK business consisting of 100 vessels, 700 employees and a turnover of £120 million with 21 subsidiaries and 17 separate sites. Set strategy to drive profitability and achieve 300% UK growth of this marine services business through organic and acquisitional growth, successfully getting final acquisition through competition commission. Implemented robust forecasting, reporting and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to allow meaningful analysis and informed decision-making while proactively driving cost reductions and engaging with financial institutions to gain significant levels of funding.
