About James Dega
I am a History Modified with Economics Major at Dartmouth College, with a minor in Public Policy and an expected graduation date of June 2026. I have a strong background in electoral politics, and am now searching for opportunities to engage with the political and public policy process as I look toward a career in government. In 2022, I worked on a campaign where we flipped an Idaho Senate Seat and ensured an extremist candidate did not win. My most proud accomplishment is working on a 2020 campaign for a county highway district commission seat in which we won by four votes. The win flipped the commission and now our county is on a path for more sustainable growth. I firmly believe that politics and government can positively benefit lives, and look forward to more opportunities to work on projects that do so.
