In this role, I was responsible for the general operations of the Sales & Distribution office of Natural Building Technologies. Importing specialist Woodfibre Insulation products & distributing them as a part of a system with a range of complementary products including lime renders, fixings, beads & ancillaries. - Maintained & trained staff on the use of ERP & CRM systems teaching staff how to make use of advanced functionality in order to greatly improve speed, efficiency & accuracy. - Responsible for all Cost Price management including haulage & overhead costs from 5 international countries carefully monitoring international circumstances so as to not affect our ability to supply on a Just in time structure to maximise financial efficiency. - Sales Price management including implementing discount structures and negotiating pricing agreements with key customers whilst monitoring the options of delivering in full loads to maximise efficiency & reduce the overall cost to the customer. - Maintained a catalougue of over 800 products with thousands of varients from over 10 suppliers whilst maintaining excellent working relationships with key contacts. - Able to put together comprehensive quotations for building systems including all necessary products to complete the installation as per manufacturers guidelines whilst regularly excelling the standards set by building control. - Key managerial responsibilities within the Head office including. Key holder, first responder, first aider, fire marshall, IT management & senior trainer for new staff and staff development. - Maintained professional relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds including; Architects, Engineers, Merchants, Specialist Distribution, Contractors, Designers, Drivers.This was an exciting role that allowed me to develop my experience across a number of fields.
