Drawing from over 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, I am the president of Curiosity Spark LLC, a company that provides personalized and effective education services to students of all ages and backgrounds. Our team of educators manages and delivers in-person, online, and small-group tutoring and test preparation help using innovative and evidence-based methods and tools. We are passionate about creating and fostering a culture of curiosity and innovation in learning and empowering students to achieve their academic and personal goals.Previously, I have served in multiple leadership roles as a U.S. Army and NATO officer, as well as a senior executive in global security and international development firms where I developed local stability support programs in high risk environments. I was elected as the board chairman and vice chairman for a global trade association focused on stability operations (IPOA) and later as board member for a private school fundraising 501(c)(3), the Friends of GISW.I have presented as an expert witness to the United States Senate on the use of private security in conflict zones as well at numerous academic programs to include American University, the Columbia SIPA Alumni Association, the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research at Harvard University, the Army War College, the Marine Corps War College, and Harvard University’s JFK School of Government. My MBA is from Babson College, and I received my MSc in Urban Management from Technische Universität Berlin. Additionally, I received a certificate in Senior Executive Leadership from Northwestern University.
