Provide Sales Engineering support to Nortel's largest channel partner, Verizon, acting as single point of contact to Verizon Sales Account Executives and Sales Engineers for Nortel communication products and services in the enterprise market. Provide sales engineering support on telecommunication projects that range in size from key systems to global-scale voice and data networks. Use field engineering background and analytical skills to provide technically sound, cost effective solutions to new and existing customers.Certified on Meridian and NEC products. Knowledge of Microsoft and Cisco server and networking products utilized in the convergence of voice and data.Provide job cost estimates and customer presentations of Nortel, NEC, Centigram, Cisco and Octel product portfolios.

Provide pre-sale application support to customer base of Nortel and NEC systems. Provide consultant support to existing customer base on the convergence of voice and data networks during period of rapid technology development, providing analysis and ROI for VoIP and Unified Communication deployments. Developed and maintained job costing standards resulting in improved project deployment margins.

Provide job costing on Nortel and NEC product lines.

Provide primary point of technical support to operation staff of over 150 field technicians on Nortel and NEC PBX product lines. Duties included remote maintenance and on-site support of fault resolution, initial system deployments and upgrades.
