As a Service Desk Manager at Killeen ISD, I lead a team of IT technicians who provide technical support and troubleshooting to over 45,000 students and staff across 53 campuses. I oversee the daily operations of the service desk, ensuring that all requests are handled efficiently and effectively, and that the quality of service meets or exceeds the expectations of the users and the management.I have a strong background in IT and project management, with over four years of experience in the military and the education sector. I have a BBA in Project Management from American InterContinental University, where I learned the principles and practices of planning, executing, and controlling complex projects. I have applied these skills to various IT projects, such as implementing new software systems, upgrading hardware and network infrastructure, and migrating data and applications to the cloud. I have also developed and maintained multiple IT policies, procedures, and documentation, as well as trained and mentored new and existing staff on IT best practices and standards.I am passionate about using technology to enhance learning and communication, and to solve problems creatively and collaboratively. I value progression and change, and I embrace new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.
