• In this role I provide person-centered support to students in relation to their ongoing health and welfare including; physical and mental well-being and personal and social education using evidence-based therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to, Narrative Therapy, ACT, CBT, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy and Behavioural Therapy. • I also provide guidance, enabling students to maximize their academic and personal potential during their studies at ICHM through a range of activities and interventions including but not limited to evidence-based one-on-one counselling, therapeutic group-based classes, mental well-being workshops and psychoeducational resources.• I develop, facilitate, and evaluate early intervention strategies and activities to address the needs of ‘at risk’ students to reduce the likelihood of long-term or potentially negative outcomes.• I am an advocate for students at Academic Committee meetings regarding health and well-being factors affecting educational development.

• I collaborated in designing, managing and evaluating the Student Health & Well-being Support Services pilot program.• Provided ethical and professional counselling/therapy services to CALD students with issues such as depression, anxiety, isolation and development of personal relationships within one-on-one and group based environments.• I demonstrated my therapeutic skills by providing evidence-based therapies; such as Person-Centred, CBT, Behavioural Analysis, Narrative, Grief, Trauma and Mindfulness. • I delivered therapeutic sessions in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of client engagement.• I demonstrated a commitment to comply with the policies and procedures as set out by PACFA, ACA, University of Adelaide and University of Adelaide College.• I actively participated in ongoing supervision, professional development and clinical reviews.• Maintained accurate records of client attendance, appropriate case notes and necessary forms. • Received an outstanding evaluation with the demonstration of my skills, ability and dedication from my onsite supervisor.

• I planned and provided confidential counselling for students using appropriate evidence-based techniques and interventions while observing ethical and professional standards. • The evidence-based therapies included; Person-Centred, Attachment, Trauma, Grief, Mindfulness and Expressive which focused on issues of parental separation, loss, peer rejection, anger management, harm and intimidation (bullying) and personal development. • I liaised with the Principal, Deputy Principal and general staff as a consultant in dealing with the social, emotional and wellbeing needs of the students.• I collaborated in focused group work for students with emotional or learning difficulties with attention on developing and building personal relationships.• I facilitated and evaluated group work on the development of mentoring skills for students to become peer support leaders within the school.• I completed and maintained accurate and appropriate case notes in a timely manner.• Received an exceptional evaluation from the Well-being Coordinator with my work at Goolwa Primary School.
