I worked with the IS Deparment to improve customer focus, and raised awareness of IS within the business by attendance at Executive Management Team meetings on a fortnightly basis.Whilst at the council the IS team were central in the implemention of new core systems, including local government regulatory systems, a new core financials system, document management and GIS. These will form the foundations of all future council IS developments and the infrastructure we designed was based around a Service Oriented Architecture. -
