"Star Wars" taught me that the true battle lies within. Martial Arts taught me to fight with confidence, or not at all. Knowledge and experience are valuable commodities - the ability to recognize and apply those lessons is indispensable. I've always loved stories and have a great many to tell. At sixteen, I earned a Blackbelt in Martial Arts from world champion instructors. At twenty, I was named the Acting General Manger of the biggest movie theatre in western Kansas. At twenty two, I graduated with honors from one of the fastest growing universities in the nation. At twenty five, I was promoted to Director of Annual Giving for the FHSU Foundation and was made responsible for raising $1,500,000 annually, cultivating major gift prospects and building awareness among the community. At twenty six, I started writing a weekly movie review for the Hays Daily News and to date have written over 170 articles. At twenty seven, I was elected to serve on the Executive Board of the Ellis County Extension Council and then moved to Kansas City. At twenty eight, I began work on my first novel and moved to Washington, D.C. to administer George Washington University's phonathon program. I'm currently back in my hometown working in IT Sales.My story is just getting started.
